SHINE DISCOS are a couple of Christian lads from the west of Scotland wanting to provide you with a great evening that you and your freinds will be talking about for years to come at a decent price.Graeme Lacey started DJ'ing in 2000 and soon bought him self some small 'disco lights' and a pair of cheap but loud Hi-Fi speakers. This small and basic set-up was to be the start of SHINE DISCOS, although the idea of DJ'ing in anything larger than a front room was nothing more than a dream. Andrew Lang was the next 'addition' to the set up and after a further equipment upgrade the boys were soon heading out regularly to schools, youth clubs and birthday parties across Lanarkshire. In 2004 it was time to take their hobby to the next level after a month long residence in a Hilton© Hotel they were taken on by Scotland's Largest Entertainment Agency. From then on the rise of Shine was constant. Today SHINE DISCOS provide Discos and Ceilidhs for all sizes of functions, for all ages, and all occasions. What we believe make us ideal for you is the following: - Punctual: We aim to be at your venue at least 1 hour before your guests are due to arrive.
- Professional: We are dressed for the occasion, and our set up is tidy with no messy wires.
- Planning: We will make sure we have all your special songs before arriving at the gig so that you are not let down.
- Requests?: YES! We encourage your guests to come up and ask for a song.
- Program: We will work with you and the venue to ensure that your event runs as smoothly as possible.
- Lyrics: We aim to keep the songs we play clean and free from obscenities.
SHINE DISCOS can also provide you with a ceilidh section within your evenings entertainment for no additional fee or recommend a ceilidh band to you. If you are unable to afford the large fee's of a ceilidh band, then we will be to happy to include upto 2 hours of ceilidh music in your evenings entertainment and walk you through each dance at the time- just let us know when booking! |
